Homer Watson House & Gallery invites you to participate in an exciting “Artist Talk” event with exhibiting artists. Our engaging February Artist Talk on February 18th from 1-3pm will feature Marion Anderson and members of the Octarine Women Artists’ Collective.
Each artist brings a different perceptive to our Colours of Canada Series this winter. Marion created one hundred and fifty small individual leaves which combine to reveal our flag. She uses acrylic and mixed media to create the illusion of trees, branching in all directions. The Octarine Women Artists’ Collective created celebratory images of Canada, revealing an exuberant use of colour and a love for landscape.
Artists will mingle with guests during this informal event, which offers the audience a chance to discuss with each artists their visual art techniques and inspirations.
Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
