Join us for an in depth look at Ralf Wall’s (Raflar) solo exhibition Way of the Wanderer. Ralf explores the great outdoors, using en plein air, he takes the audience on a journey to the locations where he has painted. Using the method of en plein air, he captures the ruggedness of the trees and rock, the moodiness of the clouds and water. Wall is known for his landscapes in both impressionistic and abstract styles in watercolour, ink, and acrylic.
This is your opportunity to hear how Ralf creates his unique artworks, where he frequents when he paints en plein air, and his inspiration.
Our annual instructors’ exhibition Living Narratives, is also on display. Stop by and see the works of the artists that dedicate their lives to arts education and work tirelessly in our studios to improve the skills of others. Together with their protégés, they capture the fragility of life and the moments that make our lives exceptional.
Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
