Homer Watson House & Gallery invites you to participate for an exciting “Meet the Artists” event with exhibiting artists. A group of Toronto artists, Red Head Gallery, uses installation pieces to portray boundaries within and surrounding our environment. In light of this topic, Marion Anderson demonstrates the effects of nature onto personal reflection through her paintings. As for Kerry Ross, she brings awareness to the social problems in our environment. In partnership with the Food Bank of Waterloo Region, Ross invites viewers to participate in the installation by placing a non-perishable food item somewhere within the exhibit. They will share with patrons/participants both their visual art techniques and inspirations. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
